Lesson 2. Know The Real Problem

As well as different skill sets, every role in your business requires a different mindset.

A person's role determines their questions, focus, actions, and results.

Competence in one role does not mean competence in multiple roles.

Assignment

Practice looking for solutions to your biggest business challenges from two different perspectives: Tattoo Artist Vs. Tattoo Business Owner.

Refer to your notes from yesterday, where you listed some of your current business concerns. Pick "The 1 Thing" that is most important to fix or focus on first.

Choose any "blank canvas" to work with. (Preferably a whiteboard, though you can also do this on paper.) At the top of your canvas, put "The 1 Thing" you said is currently most important for your business.
Now, just as you saw DaVinci doing in the video, consider that 1 Thing from two different perspectives: First, thinking like an Artist. Then, thinking like an Owner.
Write down some of your thoughts as an Artist, and some of your thoughts as an Owner. Notice the difference.
